Why do people get mad and call people greycells when one person says "appeal is better than psl" or anything along the lines "appeal" and "psl"?

Ive been seeing a lot of people online mostly on tiktok get mad when some random dude says something about appeal and PSL. I never understood and even asked one of my friends who was an org member before he got banned. But he didn't explain. I can't get why too. May I be helped?
