a lot of people think otherwise. i think 99% of tattoos look really dumb to be honest. especially if people get it for purely aesthetic purposes. i live in a very white city and whites get the worst looking tattoos. geometric shapes, basic floral patterns it all looks fucking dumb to me.

Honestly. I don't know why people don't scar themselves (even scars with designs). Looks a lot cooler and is unique.

CBA to find any studies on it (since I don't want tattoos) but from an evolutionary psych perspective it makes sense. Tattoos are basically scars and an animal having small scars in the wild is evidence that they have fought and won.
