waist size is a health indicator in humans we just get crippling health problems if it gets larger so it's not really a gender bound thing.

it makes your shoulders look wider and gives you a better v taper which is good for aesthetics i guess.

But that’s just from narrow hips and absolute shoulder width, you’re literally sacrificing size by opting for a smaller waist than a large/medium waist. Take Jeff seid for example, his physique screams higher t than any physique because his waist isn’t twink tier and is overall frame, narrow hips and absolute shoulder width creates an ideal v taper look.
