Technology has only advanced as far as it has because we wanted better ways to kill each other, Even now the ones with the best technology is the military as per usual. Then they'll let us use it when they've gotten something better in like 10 years

Impossible, for technology to be less advanced we'd have to be less Iq, But if that were the case, We'd be nothing more than animals trying to kill each other even more than we do now. In nature its survival of the fittest, none of that has changed and probably never will
