Why do people here hate others for using AI? I often see people make a thread, just for someone to respond "DNR ChatGPT", even when they clearly only used AI as a tool to improve their own ideas. Why do people hate others using AI, as long as they don't copy paste random texts ChatGPT gave them after a single prompt?

If you use detailed prompts and revision your own Ideas with the use of AI, I certainly believe it can be a very helpful tool for polishing your threads, finding that one study you vaguely remember, or just fixing spelling/grammar issues.

I take 10 minutes for writing my thread and revision it with AI for grammar/spelling.

It took me less effort and my end result is better.

Holy shit you are actually a retard. Ok let’s try this. If everyone thinks they can to bad stuff because their individual negative effects aren’t that bad, then the combined negative effects of everyone doing this bad thing will have a large effect and fuck everything up. So for a society to function, everyone must make personal sacrifice to not do a bad thing that has a little negative side effect so that the greater bad effect doesn’t occur, if some rogue actors decide they are better then everyone else and to the bad thing and reap the reward while everyone else sacrifices they become a parasite on society.
