I only watch gore that is connected to news because it's unfiltered. I don't watch cartel executions or whatever. Just relating to news. Main stream News cycles move fast, headlines blur together and tragedies get reduced to cold numbers “180 dead in Haiti” or “Russian gangs terrorize civilians. These sentences stick in the brains for maybe a day maybe an hour, before they get scrolled past them like some random advertisement for a toothpaste commercial. But when an uncensored photo or video of these things get posted suddenly it’s not just a statistic anymore. It’s a real story.
