I remember at my old job I didn’t wanna seem like a weirdo, I was always quiet, so one time when this guy came to get water I started talking to him randomly and he stopped what he was doing and said “what was that?” and then laughed nervously and gave me a response but seemed very weirded out and nervous like he just couldn’t wait to get out of my presence

Then the same thing happened again with some girl.

She came into this kitchen and saw me and tried to crack a joke but suddenly felt weirded out and said “gosh I forgot why I came in here!” And hurried and left
