Why do people like anime?

What's the appealing part of it? It's not real, it's just cartoons that try and fail to somewhat imitate reality. Why are they more watched and have an own term for them (anime) than other cartoons or entertainment series? They're boring as shit, always the same shit happens and all characters look the same way. Only anime I've ever watched was Dragon Ball because it was always on TV when I was a kid. And also, why do virgins over the internet take female characters from such things and use them as pfps? I seriously don't get all the hype around this gay shit. Less I understand why incels have also got something with that shit

It's not the same.
In videogames I assume the "nice" part is that you're the one, well, doing anything the videogame is about. Drugs have direct impact on your body and make u feel shit, and porn is just to jerk off. Anime is like some random shit that became popular

It depends on the anime, it has very good and mature animes that are worth as stein gate, death note, Fullmetal alchmist Brotherrod, Monster, berserk, etc.
And it has garbage anime like dragon ball, naruto,bleach,fairy tail,any hentai and echi.

Nah man, they r both closely related in my opinion. Anime is a way of coping for gooks cuz it takes place in a perfect world, shit like acne doesnt exist and everybody has the european pheno. Thats the definition of C O P e too u know. For exemple in games u kinda build something, for example a character, or even skill. Its not related to reality too and kinda pointless if u take the validation and competition out of it. They r both 2 great cope, but even i cant understand the weebs worshipping lolis n all that pedo stuff ngl. Also i personally think that, the viewer will kinda relate in a anime. A lot of shit anime for incels in japan have a loser, black haired protagonist that end up with being the best and having the hottest bitches around him. Its in a way satisfying for them cuz they feel like it can be us, that maintain the hope.
