Why do people like to clean on their days off?

One thing I noticed when I would go to an uncle or aunts house or on tv is that people work 40 hours a week (which is already tormenting) but then on their days off they say “I am bored! I can’t just sit here and do nothing I gotta stay busy” and then end up cleaning the whole house or yard. Why?

I don’t do anything at all but lay in bed and be a lazy pig. Even if I was bothered for 10 minutes to clean, I would hate it and would have to spend the next 80 hours laying down making up for it.

Are people conditioned to work?

If so, I am glad I’m not like others
