all these posers will invalidate the struggles of actual nd's bcuz when the the majority who claim nd are posers, the idea of an nd person will change to something nt-adjacent. nowadays (especially with the rise of tiktok and spreading self diagnoses for attention there), if you claim nd, people will just group you with all the posers and think you're more nt than you actually are

Intrusive thoughts are a part of ocd too
Idk but in my experience ocd is coupled w at least sm form of social anxiety or underdeveloped social skills (like in my case, I was never diagnosed but also suspected of having aspergers)

Varies from person to person
I had religious stuff at times and i was seeing and hearing shit that wasnt there, scared of things that didnt exist etc
But now its mostly mental rather than visual intrusion
