Why do people say "aging is beautiful"?

ill never understand people who dont care about aging or make no attempts to try to negate its adverse affects in any way, i genuinely can't tell if its ignorance or plain stupidity.

"its beautiful, its natural!!" ok so is cancer and rape and i dont see anybody celebrating either of those. youre litteraly going to watch your face, body, mind, and health slowly deteriorate infront of your eyes with nothing you can do about it. by the time these people realize how fucked they are itll already be too late

im so grateful im not a complete fucking autist and actually put my health & looks first now so i wont have to worry about making drastic changes later in life and look like a crippled prune by the time im 60
