why do people talk so fast in shorts?

i get that they are trying to squeeze as many words in the short's duration but why not just say fewer things and talk at a normal pace instead? why sound as an autistic ADHD mess?

They might've sped it up in the video editor. But either way they're trying to capture people's pathetically short attention spans.

This kinda shit is why Youtube has become legit unbearable in the past few years, I have a really hard time finding channels where I like both the way the person speaks and what they're saying. And this is a more recent problem.
