Why do people think older women wouldn’t go for young men if they had the chance?

I’ve been seeing people share a chart (too lazy to pull it up) about how older men are attracted to younger women while older women are attracted to older men and I’m thinking this is obviously bullshit? If a 25 HTN, CL approached the average 40-50 yr old woman would she really say no? What the fuck is this cope?

A lot of older women like to flirt with younger guys for some validation or nostalgia but rarely do they follow through. Because as women get older they have less patience for shit, develop more icks, the chances of inadvertently doing something that rubs her the wrong way or makes her stop taking you seriously go way up. So having a lot of experience, it’s a bonus for younger women, but it’s mandatory for older ones.
