Why do people think that the lower limit for a short male is 5'6?

There's plenty of guys well under 5 foot tall. When did 5'6 become the default number to describe a short person?

Anyones whose ever visited asia knows that the avg height there is like 4'5 feet, asian women are literal midgets. When I was in asia most of the women were around my dick height and thats while theyre wearing big ass shoes, yet only coming up to my groin height while standing fully upright next to me, insane.

Like most people would say that this short guy is "5'6" but thats dead wrong, hes closer to like 4'8 barefoot, or even shorter

the thread where I said the fake natty was 5'6 was info that I found in his comment section the guy claims to be 5'6 but all other pics I’ve seen of him standing makes him look no less then 5'1

yea my theory is that most guys who are short just default to saying they are 5'6, when in reality they are well below
