Let's think, in America, there are MILLIONS of voters. Every time an election happens, the disparity in votes is in TENS OF THOUSANDS. The odds of your vote making any difference is less than winning the lottery.

Secondly, on another note, even if in the insane unlikelihood it did make a difference, how do you even know you're making the right choice, when politicians are notorious for lying?

I find it weird that the disparity is so little... and it’s always seems like 51% - 49% it just seems too convenient and artificial.

better to at least get your say in than not to

The current election right now is mostly "I don't like Trump/Democrats, so I'll vote for Trump/Biden so they don't get into office". It's less thinking things will change, and more just blind hate.

jfl, you aren't getting a say though
your vote at least contributes to a larger pool of votes, on its own it won’t matter but it’s probably better than not using what little power you have than not i mean

You can whine about muh “voting does nothing” all you want but when you’re forced to do something you don’t like remember it’s because you didn’t make your voice heard with voting.

if you mean the people on this site, then i would say its probably because they're still young and don't have as strong a form of social conditioning yet as their parents.

Think about it. If voting was any good why don't Corporations or Armies allow many people to vote in the next ceo or chief general?

Why are those guys only selected by a few high position people? Is is coz there is any actual risk if the leader is shit so they don't take their chances with mass voting?
