And it made me curious on an evolutionary perspective, why would it be important for humans to judge appearance for such things? Since the good looking people will always be deemed more trustworthy but can be just as evil

I don’t see the purpose for humans, male and female to judge others by looks since bad ppl are bad and good looking

Exactly, and this fucking instinct hinders your ability to think critically and it's basically a subconscious thing, and it takes milliseconds to decide whether to trust someone or not or to mate with the latter.I remember seeing a study that showed it took around 13ms for a foid to decide whether mate with a guy or not.
I would also like a more detailed explanation of that.

believe it or not its non-uncommon for ugly men to be at parks and have women calling the police on them saying said man is homeless and acting weird or is scaring the children and now the police comes and arrests the guy under disturbing the peace. There gonna tell the guy what is he doing at the park and did he talk to any of the women or children, then there gonna ask to escort him to leave. Guess what the guy goes back to the park again the women call the police days or weeks later and now the police ban him from the park saying he has history of harassing women and children at the park. And people people go along with this dumb shit insane.
