"Gym is useless, do u really think models need to go to the gym?"
"Fashion is useless, girls would prefer a chad with homeless clothes then you"
"Fragrances are useless, girls dont care about smell"
"Hair doesnt matter, chads can be bald and still atracttive"
"Makeup is cope, chads dont need to use makeup+its gay"
Yet if you hit the gym, dress well, with a good hair and scent, you will increase your appearance for at least a point, sure you wont improve much But its still worth trying

Because they go out and see shit like this from time to time, and realize that it's all based on luck, fate and destiny, so they prefer to wait for their chance, because in the same way that someone did the things you listed and managed to get someone, someone didn't, and all the effort was for nothing anyway..
