Why do people want they upper eye lid to be exposed?

Just look at these Blepharoplasty before and after, do people really want to have their upper eye lid exposed?

Looks to me like they all descended.

I see it is about having positive hooding, not just PCT.

Could those 2 people be able to get positive hooding without exposing upper eyelid?

im asian and i dont understand why this the argument against asians getting this surgery. Less than 50% of asians have monolids, most asians still have double eyelids, i dont think theyre thinking of race shifting when getting this
