Why do people watch anime/ kdramas etc in dub over sub?

Watching animes in japanese sounds so much better, the language is cool asf as opposed to some random dude talking over it in English with much less emotion and intention. If you don’t want to “read a show” you are just lazy, literally can’t even notice after watching for a minute

when i watch anime in dub it’s usually because i can’t read and watch a fight at the same time

i’ll usually put on sub for a regular non-action show

but idk everyone has their preferences

Yeah that’s fair, I just get annoyed when I’m watching edits and there’s some shitty dub on all them
