it's educational. especially the ones that show the events leading up to the carnage, you can learn a lot from other people's mistakes. also, it's interesting to understand how different physical forces interact with the human body/skull/etc. there are probably a lot of double digit iq mouthbreathers who jack off to that, but real gore connoisseurs are very different.
