white is a simplified term. north euros and meds are different i agree but still closer to each other than to anyone else. in 19th century people were using terms like the alpine or dinaric or nordic or whatever race which would be a better grouping than med vs. north euro but its shit in common use

USA is a settler project, same with Canada and Australia. Both were developed by the colonialism entities, not exploited. Look at how the native people of those countries are living (barely even exist anymore)

most national dishes you see around europe are - atleast partly - derived from the world wars era (1900-1950), which means it's literally peasant broke food.

It was originally designed to give you enough calories to survive. It's not nutrient dense and doesn't have good protein.

It's why you still see England eat beans on toast, or Germany and Poland still spam potatoes in every dish.

The ones predating WWI-WWII aren't any better either. In 1600's the traditional polish dishes were mainly fermented vegetables and soups (and pierogi as you show on the image).

Some of the dishes can be good taste-wise though.
