Iraq had once the largest Army and they still lost, not because their lack of gunpowder. It was their lack of defending against an arial attack. Most nations are like this tbh. With the atombomb it's worse. Technically all wars ended or became something petty. Getting someone nuked doesn't require to be fair or on equal ground.
