I'd say mostly because of education?
Usually in western countries women are less available than men because they're focusing on academics more making a shortage of women in the dating market
This means women who are open to date have more value than what they truly are and so they can date up and have higher standards (ending up with a higher value male)
But since in Eastern Europe people are often less educated than in the west and even lesser for women...men can actually date across in looks wise and even up sometimes if they're statusmaxxed etc
