Simply because the attention they get is not consistent.

So they need to act in a way that attracts consistent attention.

And what better way to do that than to be oofy doofy "just having fun" type with the boys.

this is rooted in absent parents. and the desire for approval.

everyone who has 2 brain cells knows, that nobody outside your family is going to do anything for you. and yet they desperately cling to their homo-erectus male friends in hopes of fickle comraderie based off nothing but mutual desire to fulfill themselves and not feel alone.

chads do not need friends, because they have their fathers inheritence, good family relations, and love from thousands of women.

only brainless whore-chasers need like-minded friends.
