I don’t think it’s solely bones.

I’m wondering maybe it’s the protein content of the diet or just the overall health?? I’m not sure.

Brad pitt looked great in fight club but he was like 7-9 % body fat tops

And jake gyllenhaal goes to a similar body fat for night crawler and looks horrible.

Lack of collagen. Great ways to destroy your collagen are smoking, sugar binge induced glycation of the skin, tons of time spent in the sun with zero sunscreen, tons of alcohol for years upon years with little hydration.

Bones do matter, but you get that sunken in look when all your fat pads are gone and you have no collagen left, just that wrinkly leathery skin that makes you look like a skeleton.

People with low collagen levels like Gyllenhaal need to gain weight and go to 15%+ body fat to look human.

People with decent collagen like young Brad Pitt look good even at sub 10% body fat (i.e. Fight Club - he was 34 years old in it!)

Bones and collagen

No it’s how the diet is done. There are actors who cut to be fighters (jake is one)

They look good at low bf% and then look bad at other roles with low bf%

I’m assuming it’s protein intake because any role where they cut to be fighter or warrior they usually look good.

Jake looks better and more defined IMO, Pitt would look better if he looked like that

What the fuck at these psycho replies.

Pitt and Jake are around the same bf%

Jake looks unhealthy because he’s playing a character with bad health.

What causes that? I believe protein deficient

Brad pitt was a chain smoker during fight club.

Fat pats - yes

But fat pads and collagen are entirely separate.
