Why do some guys look worse with a fringe ?

When my hair covers my forehead then my face looks bloated and childish . When I part it in the middle (curtain) - so the forehead is more visible - it looks better .

---BUT---

some other dudes look good in a fringe , why is this ? @belnar93 looks the same or better with a fringe but when I do the exact same hair my face looks much worse . Or Tom Welling who looks better with a fringe than hair up . If I had that i would look bad .



I have a slightly long midface , masc face shape. My jaw is my best feature and my eyes are meh tier .
