Look better with long hair in the sides and some look better with a fade on the sides? Is it because of the zygos or what?

Tbh u need to have a lot of bone mass to.pull long hair , my bones basically disappeared but when I cut my sides short and kept it long on top it enchanced my facial bones a lot

Can confirm it's lower third personally especially important that you have no downward growth, if you look at any model of long-haired perfection ie Rose, Cobain they have jawlinz compare that to a Dave Grohl and it becomes quite apparent

Let's take Shelby as an example.
Shelby looks much better with Fade, because he has an insane bony structure and a square face.
So I would say it's face shape + bone structure.
The same is true with Cavill, he looks better with short than long hair.
Thor has a square face, but poor bone structure, so he looks good with long hair.
Now guys who look good with long hair Marlon teixeira, Momoa, Joe magnelo.They have no square faces.
I just thought about it, so there must be a lot of things wrong

River phoenix have average bones but he looks shit with Short hair... wtf.. He transform to different person when he has long hair.. with short hair he looks generic white guy.

It could be zygos. His zygos are pretty good.. I cannot come with other explanation.

Face and hair combined is key factors. Short hairstyles usually enchances masculinity while long hair does the opposite. But still, if one have an overall masculine face that can pull off long hair it can be a real looksmax, good hair required aswell ofc. Biologically what people find attractive is signs of health(which lots of masculine traits are part of) and having long healthy hair displays just that. For example, imo some of Brad Pitts best looks have been with really long hair because of his masculine face + good hair to pull it off:

I'd also add that face shape matters a bit where those who have masculine features but narrower lower third have most potential with longer hair, wider lower thirds can pull it off e.g Brad Pitt but also looks good in lots of other hair styles as well. I guess it's lots of personal preference also.. For some long hair is complete no-go due to lack of professionalism.
