Why do some men develop stomach fat as they age

It kind of scares me, some guys have the perfect body in terms of aesthetics and they grow slightly older and have stomach fat/bloated stomach almost like a beer belly. And im talking about early 20s.

Could it be alcohol?

It's often because they have more freedom, they have their own money, can go partying, can buy drugs, can go out late at night. All of that compounds, testosterone lowers, circadian rhythm's fucked, nutritions fucked, you're consuming way too many calories, your organs and liver are fucking being overworked because of all the shit you're drinking and smoking, etc.

If you're locked in nothing will happen.

lifestyle related, metabolism doesn't actually decline much with age at all.

my father still has abs at age 65, I've always had them too even when I was a skeleton.
