Why do some people have wider looking eyes?

I don’t really understand what your answer means. I just wanted to know what determines the width of the eyes is it the orbital bone, the epicanthus? I’m aware of eye types like “hunter eyes” and so on, I’m just interested in digging deeper into the topic.
