Why do some people still look bad while having great faicial features (eyes, nose ,mouth) while others look great while having kinda bad face features

I want a full breakdown of faicial ratios, I know a lot of people who have great eyes, decent nose and good mouth as well as good jaw and cheekbones sometimes, but they still manage to look bad like something just feels weird about their looks , something throws me off , while others for example have perhaps big nose , not that good of an eye and avg mouth , but they do look great, ik it's something that has to do with ratios and harmony but I need to understand it fully, what are the most important ratios in a face?

It all comes down to facial proportions and symmetry. Features themselves do not make an attractive face, perceived facial averageness does. A wide nose isn't necessarily a flaw if it fits in with the rest of the face. A small nose isn't a halo if it's surrounded by hyper-masculine features.

If you're interested in actually understanding any of these there are tons of resources on this forum, or YouTube (just look at what "looksmax raters" like FaceIQ, Nero Angelo, Chadify, etc., consider in their ratings). But my preferred method is the "science-based" approach, QOVES has tons of videos explaining the sciences of beauty from an evidence-based perspective, it's like what the raters do, but much more nuanced and based on what science dictates is actually attractive to people. Alternatively, aside from just mindless consumption on YouTube, you can research specific anatomical terms and find a lot of resources published by plastic surgeons, orthodontists or actual beauty specialists in all of these fields.
