Modern turkey is highly mixed, being a turk nowadays is more of a cultural thing, not a DNA thing.
You guys believe in the same religion, speak the same language but none of you have the same DNA in you.
Modern turks considered extremely mixed genetically. Multiple large scale genomic studies have found that the modern turkish population exhibits a high degree of genetic variation and admixture, reflecting turkys history as a crossroads between europe and asia.
This admixture includes contributions from bulgarians, greeks, syrians, arabs, kurds, armenia and georgians.
''Turks'' who live more in the west are most likely to be ''white'', because its more likely that they are mixed with greeks and bulgarians.
Turks originally had dark/light brownish yellow skin, their skin color was generally within the spectrum expected for central asian populations, which can range from lighter wheat tones to a medium brown.
Real turks had tiny, very high set cheekbones, but not as protruding as in some mongoloid populations - with tiny small. slanted (almond-shaped) eyes. Their noses were often flat and not very prominent.
