Although I'm sure everyone here is already well aware of how attractive women and men alike can sometimes go overboard with their rejections or just randomly dog on people they find unattractive for no other reason, one strange thing I've noticed is that I've only ever seen (some) women act as if they feel genuinely scared and disgusted that an ugly man tried making a move on them, sometimes they'll even react that way just because an ugly man found them attractive even if he didn't say anything to her directly. I've seen some women reject ugly men in such an exaggerated manner that without context, you'd genuinely think the guy was being creepy or sexually harassing her even if the dude was being respectful, polite and non-sexual. Why's this? Do women genuinely get scared at the sight of ugly men? It's so baffling because I've seen plenty of men also disrespect unattractive women but they never act as if they're genuinely disgusted or scared.
