Whenever they try it there's a counter-revolution. The Satanic panic and George W. Bush era made people shift to atheism and the left. Then atheists and leftists became too militant and they shifted back to the right. And now the right is starting in again by advocating for digital ID, porn ban, shoving Christianity down our throats, etc.
