why do they say facial bone growth stops at 15?

I've seen a bunch of ppl saying that ur bones cant grow at all after like 14 but im almost 16 and have had noticeable bone development within the last 4-5 months.
I also hit puberty at 12 or 13 so im not a late bloomer or anything.

No the bones can still thicken slightly all over. Bones aren’t getting longer/wider or changing angle anymore though
