I thought it was the other way around. In white collar jobs the working environment is much better, pay higher, better reputation and status, more job security and growth and just the nature of a white collar job. U dont have to do manual labor. Isn't it obvious?

lol no one wants to be a wagecuck working 80 hours, they are forced by circumstance or they are obsessed with making more money or rising up the corporate ladder

manual labour is masculine and skilled trades do very well make a lot more than average white collar worker. At least in Australia

I already explained this to you in dm. Things aren't the same in curryland i dont care

Idk here tradesmen are looked down upon. It's a job that only drop outs or illiterates take up. Skilled labour is more valued here.

same here but it's not looked down upon and they make good money

I don't really have any passions, I just want to make enough money to be financially secure and retire early and not waste all my life wageslaving.

I'm probably going to end up in a white collar job cause I'm doing STEM now.

its not the same in the west
Indians and East asians like to flex their intelligence but we respect our workers
I seriously can't grasp this tbh. How can u consider a guy who cuts wood for a living to be equal to a guy who works at an office with air conditioning

Civil Engineers are doing the same because of lack of jobs.

because society depends on the guy who cuts wood too
the wage gap is pretty small (in scandinavia) anyway, tradesmen have good pay
i respect manual labour workers more than scum who work in office unless it's a doctor

Very interesting. I dont think so tbh and other @Chadeep Indian users would probably concur. I see memes like this all the time on my Instagram

Outside of the west manual laborers earn dog shit wages, even the more technical ones like electricians or mechanics, whereas the average business graduate who basically just does data entry earns like 10 times more, it's a cruel world tbh.

Even then it just doesn't make sense to me

See this exactly how I feel about plumbers and carpenters. Subconsciously I think of them to be inferior to me
plumbers and carpenters mog betabuxxing software engineers to hell

hmm, handle and install pipes which transport literal shit and other waste or work in a cozy office on a computer copy pasting git hub code and earning a lot more
