2 reasons.

1. Genetics casts a wide net during recombination which results in super-winners being created which usually move the species forward and also creates subhumans who take up space but don't negatively affect the human race because they're genes are bred out.

2. Because "the system" wants to exploit the labor of the average male and uses the fantasy of "a woman that loves only you" to convince men to participate. In a hunter-gatherer system men that aren't getting any only produce enough for themselves, in modern economies they slave away to try to appear as attractive as possible to roasties cause they can't compete with their genetics.
