Why do users bring up old photos?

Do they not acknowledge that one can ascend since the picture? Hell, we’re on looksmax.org, the whole point is to ascend. Why would someone bring up an old picture totally disregarding progress one has made? I’ve noticed they’re all pretty ugly too, could be jealousy/envy?
