whenever we see characters like joker or jesse pinkman, they're almost always people who we feel bad for.
i'm thinking it has something to do partly with their (skinny) physique:
the reason i think it has to do with their physique is because you'd never end up pitying this guy:
i just can't seem to crack the case on exactly what it is though...
