Why do white families hate each other, and ethnics stick together?

I noticed hispanics, filipinos, and a lot if other ethnics take care of their families and let their kids live with them as adults and let extended family members move in. Whites seem to have a your on your own mentality. Im a hapa and My dads side of the family all hate each other and argue. My moms side all get along. What caused whites to develop this mentality? Even in predominantly white European countries they hate interacting with people in general. Germans and Scandinavians would get horrified if someone asked them a question in person.
