Yesterday I went to buy a lottery ticket and was walking home to my parents house, and stopped for a smoke and a 50yr old white woman with a Hermes belt and a Chanel handbag asked me who I was and if I was lost and I shouldn't be causing problems, simply cos I'm ethnic and was wearing a hoodie and grey sweats.

Luckily my (white) mum came out to open the gate for me and her and the old hag seemed to be friends so no issues, but still, I never even got harassed like that in mainland China
