For most women (i.e. women not interested in being a good wife), it's a sentience/hedonism issue.

Women have so little self control and decision making skills from being encouraged to live a low sentience life that they are incapable of making any determinations regarding sex other than primal ones (ie: tall, colored, or handsome men only, and with as many men as possible).
