I am fairly sure the vast majority of therapists are required to not upset the patient in anyway at all, so basically that means they lie to you whenever you ask for advice on a situation half the time.

I went to this bs as a kid and it did nothing, I got told to "pick up hobbies" "journal your feelings" and "find friends" over and over again for 3 years. Nigga I could have learned that shit my parents paid hundreds for in one google search. Maybe it's slightly better for adults but not sure

As someone who's spent countless months in psych wards and residentials, therapy is utter bullshit. Foids like it because it enables them to go out and act like the evil whores they are, and if anybody complains they learn stupid therapy terms to diagnose them which makes them feel better about themselves.
