It depends on if you mean death at an old age or death within the next 10 years.

Not being afraid of death as a young man is very stupid, you likely have pages and pages of things you haven’t achieved or experienced yet, and an early death could very easily rob you of that. I understand that you wouldn’t be able to feel the pain of having missed out on these things if the death was quick, but chances are you would be in hospital for a bit while the dread sets in.

I don’t fear death of old age though.
