And what's with this false dichotomy of you choose Jesus or you follow the devil? Can't I just have autonomy?

If God is omnipotent and infinitely more powerful than the devil than what is with this fighting against evil shit? Can God not prevent you from going to hell?

I'd make much more sense if the devil was an actual threat and God needed your prayers or something to defeat him. Then even the punishment of hell for not believing would make sense.

I love how Christians think we're simultaneously the center of the universe, loved by God, but also dirt at the bottom of his shoe and asking questions is worthy of eternal hellfire. I believe in God, I just don't get religion 🤷‍♂️

Because God created being and everything to be in harmony with Him. To worship Him. There is no autonomy. It's all about God. Either you're God's inheritance or you belong to Satan, whether you think you do or not.

Again, it's about God. It's not about us. How would it glorify God to create people to love and worship Him if they have no free will? He created us to love and worship Him with the ability to choose not to. Few will love, worship, and obey Him but most won't. The ones who choose to love and worship Him will glorify Him and the ones who don't will receive their wages in hell for eternity, which will also glorify Him.

It makes absolute perfect sense.

God created you with a sense of reason specifically because he wanted you to deny your reason and mindlessly accept him. If he had just created you to obey him, then it wouldn’t be as beautiful, it would be too straightforward and rational.

With God there is peace and without him it's the exact opposite. If he did just put you into heaven no matter what than there would be no free will.

There is necessarily no free will if the Christian god is the one true God, since omniscience renders this impossible.

That's disobedience, what even is sin? Any harm you could do is temporary and yet hell is forever. Most sin is "harming yourself". It's like being punished for "vandalizing" yourself, it's retarded.

Sin is turning away from God and accepting the flesh instead of the spirit, by vandalizing yourself your basically vandalizing God. As we are mad in his image. Similarly to how killing yourself lands you in hell

Yeah, the whole reason sin and hell exists in the first place is because cause Satan didn't submit to humans who are made in gods image. God did know he would do it any so it's doesn't make much sense

Imagine for a moment that through some random universal event, some quantum fluctuation or stuff, you suddenly become God and now have the power to do absolutely anything. You visit your bullies, ex-girlfriends, crushes and other people that treated you like crap in the past. You still look the same, there's nothing unusual about you at first glance, and you gently inform them that you are the path, the truth and the life and salvation comes only through you...They laugh in your face however, think you're crazy and reject your message.
Now, tell me - now that you have this huge power, wouldn't you teach those assholes a lesson and show them who's the boss? I mean that's what I would certainly do, the torments of hell depicted in the Bible are nothing compared to what I'm about to do to them...😈
