Why do you look so subhuman on license photos?

Is it only me or why are my license photos so subhuman?

nah me too but i guess that means we are trucels irl since those pics are usualyl taken by a camera from like 7 feet away with a dslr so very little distortion to cope with. No lens distortion for your lopsided recessed skulls

Because of the bright flash. It something I learnt in photography class as a student. We were told not to use flashguns in portrait photography.

Take camera photos of yourself under strong florescent light = very unflattering.

Take photos of yourself in dim light and u look a lot better.

Only dark ethnics can look ok under bright lights.

I have no idea but i want to absolutely demolish my self esteem and have 0 cope so i want to think yes ( i sincerely hope not tho) i think they do wash out a lot of detail and depth of your face

I looked better in mine than I expected tbh. I think it has something to do with being used to the non mirrored version of your face which takes time.

You need a thick neck and a symmetrical face to look good in license photos
