I was in the same position as you my friend, my parents wouldn’t ever let me go anywhere and not meet my friends because they were also "dangerous". Hell my parents wouldn’t even let me keep my money from my first job and would always take 60% of it for "saving".
But you need to step outside and ACTUALLY interact with people. The more excuses you make the more time you’ll waste.

Since you’re 16, you’re in education I’m presuming you can easily make friends by putting on a mask and pretending to be a socially acceptable person. Otherwise you’ll just be stuck in the same cycle over and over again.

During COVID Times I never had anything or any friends. I had been kicked out of school for recording and partaking in a fight and basically lost all my friends and became a professional rotter.
I stared at the same bleak walls everyday and that made me lose my mind. But eventually I turned things around and got into College.
Ever since then my social life has been decent. It’s all about you. You may be ugly but there will always be another ugly person you can be friends with IF YOU ARE ugly.
