because height makes the biggest difference around the average values. Going from 5’9 (below average) to 5’10 (average) has a WAY bigger effect than going from, let’s say 6’2 to 6’3. At 6’2, you’re already tall enough for the difference to not matter. On the opposite spectrum, going from 5’6 to 5’7 doesn’t matter because you’re still a manlet

not at all. In the West it's more or less average, below in some but it's not actually short in any country other than maybe the Balkans/Netherlands. Just fraud with thick shoes/lifts and you'd be solidly average height. If it matters that much, you'd be pushing tall in SEA

No. if you’re good looking and have a good pheno, even 5’6 is enough. But if you’re dravidian and ugly, being 6’4 won’t save you.
whether it’s over for you at any height depends on two things, facial attractiveness and pheno. Those two things are by far the most important imo.

5'9" is meh and nothing really stands out. at 5'10" you usually have somewhat decent genes, so a bigger skull or longer legs is what gives you that extra inch over the 5'9"
