Why does almost everyone I meet use cocaine?

95% of my former hostel roommates have been doing coke and both of my current roomates are using it. The older one (they're brothers) started doing blow inside our room only recently, despite telling me before he can't even have coffee because it makes him too nervous

I have a dry mouth just sitting here. Why is coke addiction so fucking prevalent? I legit meet more coke addicts than cigarette smokers, alcoholics or stoners. Starting to think they're selling that crap at this hostel ngl
