why does black hair make me look like a psychopath

I've been suggested to dye my hair a darker colour before but I always thought against it. However, I've just seen a tt edit that shows models with blond hair and then it edits their photo to make their hair darker and it lowky looks better.
I did the same now with ai to see how it would look on me but I feel like it looks uncanny/weird. I want opinions tho maybe my pov is js not used to it.
