Why does Jordans chin always look recessed

In every random picture from the side his chin looks recessed.
If you compared it with the rest of the face it definately looks recessed. Of course people has bad angles but it always looks recessed form the side.

Is it recessed or not, and if it isnt why does it look so recessed.

In the picture you can see that the line hits his lip idealy it should be behind it.
Im pretty sure this is because of his gonial angle, which is his bigges flaw

if not then his side is like 70% harmony and barrett is like high htn in his prime

chin is unideal

chin recession relative to the frankfurt plane alone is a minor flaw, but it effects the convexity measurements which barretts are only slightly off. he has those and some other minor flaws

In some pictures his chin looks lined up with his nasion, in that one maybe 1 or 2 mm behind. I still wouldn’t call that recessed because it’s not all about projection, you also have to look at the width and especially the shape, a chin that’s actually recessed wouldn’t be wide and square shaped like Barrett’s.

I’m sorry boyo, I don’t have any links off hand. It’s kinda my own observation after reading it mentioned on here and .net a long time ago and now 8 years of looking at countless faces through the PSL lens. If you read about the differences between brachycephaly, mesocephaly, and dolicocephaly, and apply this to jaw growth - and notice how wide skulls and faces seem to never have the type of truly recessed mandible mouthbreather look - you might start to see it too. You can also read about the posterior maxilla and how it determines the airway size, palatal width, and base of the mandible, this is extremely important.
